Little Daddy

Today I took a little boy, also called James, out to Preston Market just for an hour’s worth of babysitting.

Tiny James

He’s this cute lil’ fella who’s about 4, doesn’t know his Chinese name and loves Ben 10. His favourite colour is green, favourite animal’s the lamb, hearts Transformers and pizza. Very easy going guy. And upon discovery, he’s got a strong right foot for kicking the ball.

So for the hour, my mum’s mission for the both of us was to get his favourite pizza. Honestly, it wasn’t a very difficult job. It was great! Cos I was all suited up from my presentation earlier on in the day, I looked almost like his half-daddy-half-uncle kinda kin.

Having him by my side felt a tad funny, it’s like a glimpse into future. And him wanting to hold my hand as we walk through the sardine-packed market conjured a totally weird fuzzy but warm feeling inside. It’s totally weird. But well, fun at the same time.
