Flesh Gordon dvd This is actually a really good tip especially since the exams are here. So in Melbourne terms, where a standard meal costs about $8.50 on average without beverage or dessert, packing lunch for 4 days a week will save you
$8.50 * 4 days of lunch = $34/week
But well, of cos you have to pack lunch, so you will have net the $34 out which should still save you well over $20 for the week.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think that many uni students use thermostats more than heaters. To save on your electricity bills, don’t use the wall units pre-installed in your apartments. Go to Big W and buy those fan-enforced ones. Although they’re small, they’ll blast the heat in your room, and save you quite a bit on electricity too.
And anyway since it’s summer now, open your windows for that extra fresh breeze of air (or pollens if you’re unlucky).
If you’re already on a cap, good on you. If not, get on one now. If you’re always exceeding your cap, change your cap or change your calling/texting habits. If you’re always under your cap, maybe downsize your cap to save that extra $10-$20 a month.
3‘s got pretty good rates and same network calls.
So does Optus. They have a bundling package for internet, mobile and landline. Vodafone and Virgin Mobile
are good alternatives.
That’s all for today folks. All the best for exams!
