Jesus and I

Some men grow up in churches and are led to believe that they have placed their faith in Jesus for salvation while they still lacked a personal relationship with Jesus. I sometimes wonder if I myself fall under that category. A lot have been asked lately about Lordship decisions. Do I live with a transformed mind? Do I live a regenerated life in Jesus Christ? Or am I just an empty soul filled with enough Bible knowledge to last a debate with a Jehovah Witness?

Gracie release I’m not contented with living just like that. I know there’s a whole lot more. I worry for my future but afterall it’s a pursuit of God with the end foreseeable and possible. It’s choosing to live each day with and in Jesus. It’s knowing that I’ve been cruxified with Christ and that I no longer live; it is Christ who lives in me! It’s not struggling to come to terms with getting there

That’s not how it’s supposed to be. How can we share what Jesus said if we don’t know Jesus himself, talk about reaching God if we don’t pray to Him, or follow the Spirit if we don’t let it guide us?

The truth is, I want to know Jesus more and more each day, even if it’s hard pressed on all sides. And I want to choose to live everyday and every moment with Him.

    hello bro,

i think being a Christian is all about contentment (not complacency, but living in constant thanksgiving and blissfulness mindset) and joy. I think it’s very ironical when we start worrying about our walk with God and how it should be better (it happens to me sometimes too!), when Christ has already done everything for us and planned our future nicely ahead of us and all we have to do is just to follow the path which He has paved before us, and receive what He has already done for/given to us. I think He just really wants us to walk WITH Him and not keep trying to walk TOWARDS Him because He’s always here and seriously I don’t think Jesus really cares whether we read the bible or we pray hard and often enough (ok i sound really radical here) but he wants our HEART, we must first desire Him and that’s where the motivation to know Him more comes. So just enjoy the love of Christ before anything else!
