Google Reader, My Friend

I have probably learnt more from my Google Reader than I ever did in university.

I would spent afternoons and evenings digesting what I read and craft them into blog posts or simply quote what I thought was cool. I was essentially teaching myself an additional skill set, one that few of my classmates would have. And this skill eventually helped me with case studies on marketing and even know more about my own faith through powerful writers. Keeping up with friends have become less of a hassle because of the centralised function of this tool. It’s about learning on your own.

Everyone, I want you to meet Google Reader. Today it has more functions than it started off with and has influential people use it. If you find visiting many noteworthy websites daily a chore, then RSS feeds combined with this reader will become your very good friend.

Although, a word of caution from me, do limit the number of feeds you follow because it might turn into a beast you cannot control. If you’ve got good stuff to share, please leave a comment behind! Thanks! (:
