New Year’s Resolutions 2009

I’ve never quite believed in resolutions because you never achieve them half the time. But that’s because I never really had a plan to do them, that’s why they fail half those times. But this year, I figured that with aplenty time in my hands, I could actually do something about it. And certain circumstances [...]

Today while vacuuming

I accidentally sucked in a spider (ok fine, that wasn’t an accident) a paper clip my yellow Lance Armstrong “Live Strong” band and a new bundle of shoelace Ah wells, so much for being domesticated. haha. On second thought, maybe the suction power of that machine is really strong.

It’s 2 am

And I’m still awake.I can still smell the egg chiffon with BBQ pork on rice I had for dinner. I struggle through the Word. Searching for meaning outside of it’s covers. And God’s inspiration finds me at my weakest hour. Surely, He uses the foolish to shame the wise.I have nothing else to boast.

Away for the weekend

Hello everyone! I’ll be away for the weekend at Torquay. Call my handphone if you need me urgently, otherwise I’ll be at the beach for a retreat. I’ve been sick for a while too, which explains some inactivity online. Peace out!

Rehab

You know how they say that with every 1 happy moment you have, 10 bad ones will follow? I have a feeling that I’m already into my 6th bad one. Gah! Assignments are so bad. And sometimes I think lecturers alter them just to mock us. Okay, I’m not supposed to whine on this blog because [...]

When Grace Abounds

Yesterday was a day of turmoil, frustration, temptations, desperation, dejection, stress and pain. Everything that could have gone wrong did. But somehow in His miraculous ways, the truest of it’s meaning was revealed. Grace paved a way for the day. When my heart stirs into an endless whirl, He comes over with His hand to still [...]

20% devils

Oh how I loathe 20% tests which are Multiple Choice Questions! Finance lecturers should all be haunted by car park attendants all their lives that they will forever park cars with such a fear. On the bright side, I’m going to watch Iron Man tonight. So that should relieve some stress for the moment. ARGHHHHHH!
